Thoughts on Love

Today I was reading Romans 12 and this passage stuck out to me:

Love from the center of who you are; don't fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle.
Romans 12-9-10 MSG

I'm a visual person, so I looked for a photo that went with this verse. I found the following photo in this article titled, "60 Tiny Love Stories to Make You Smile". If you have a chance, read it. Its good.

Back to the verse. I really think its just a gentle reminder from God encouraging us to be genuine in all encounters. It is something I really strive to do. I say that I try to be the same person all of the time, in all situations. I think that the cool buzzword in christian circles now is to be "transparent". I don't like the connotations of that particular word, but I like the lesson. Be You. Be who God created you to be. I feel that if we're loving from the center of who we are, we will find ourselves relating to people and loving others in a way that is not humanly possible, but divinely inspired. And it will be genuine.

Until Next Time,
